Vol. 7, No. 3, pp. 323-328, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/nnw7bx51 March 21, 2025
Abstract. At present, with the large-scale of fully mechanized mining equipment, the air flow and dust transport law in fully mechanized caving face has become more complex. In order to systematically study the dust diffusion characteristics under the influence of air flow in fully mechanized top coal caving face, the dust diffusion pollution law of fully mechanized top coal caving face under the influence of 0.5m/s~2.0m/s air inlet wind speed was numerically simulated and analyzed, and the coupling movement law of air flow and dust in fully mechanized top coal caving face under different wind speeds … Read more →

The Effect of High-Temperature Heat Treatment on the Precipitation Behavior and Mechanical Properties of Mg-Al-Zn-Ca Alloys

Vol. 7, No. 3, pp. 329-338, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/24evzw53 March 21, 2025
Abstract. This study first involves the melting of Mg-xAl-(8-x)Zn-(2-3)Ca (wt%, where unspecified refers to weight percentage) magnesium alloys with various compositions. The microstructure of the alloys is investigated using techniques such as OM, SEM, and XRD. It is found that variations in the Al/Zn ratio and Ca content significantly affect the composition and quantity of the second phase within the Mg-Al-Zn-Ca alloy system. Through tensile tests on five different alloys, it is observed that the Mg-3Al-5Zn-3Ca alloy exhibits relatively good comprehensive mechanical properties, achieving a tensile … Read more →

Study of English Reading Instructional Design in Senior High School Based on the Activity-based Approach to English Learning

Vol. 7, No. 3, pp. 339-346, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/tk3pk118 March 21, 2025
Abstract. The perspective of English learning activities provides significant support for achieving the educational goal of core competence and also offers theoretical guidance for the practical teaching of front-line English teachers. The understanding of the concept of English learning activities by high school English teachers and the degree of alignment with the implementation of this concept have a significant impact on the effectiveness of classroom teaching and further influence the new progress of curriculum reform. The learning activities based on the perspective of English learning activities … Read more →

Establishment and Validation of Finite Element Model for Reinforced Concrete Columns

Vol. 7, No. 3, pp. 347-355, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/jdpg8r56 March 21, 2025
Abstract.Reinforced concrete structures are widely used in buildings in China. However, research on the mechanical properties of reinforced concrete components remains limited due to experimental constraints and economic factors. This study establishes a mesoscale numerical model of reinforced concrete (RC) columns using Python and ABAQUS software, followed by comparative analysis with experimental results. The results indicate that the predicted load-displacement curves and ultimate bearing capacities align closely with experimental data, demonstrating high consistency between the model and real-world … Read more →

Research Progress on Mechanical Properties of Alkali-Activated Concrete

Vol. 7, No. 3, pp. 356-363, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/p36ejk36 March 21, 2025
Abstract. This paper first introduces the raw materials of alkali-activated cementitious materials, analyzes the mechanical properties of alkali-activated concrete, namely compressive strength, flexural strength, splitting tensile strength, elastic modulus and stress-strain curve, and analyzes the mechanical properties of steel fiber alkali-activated concrete. The results show that the compressive strength and flexural strength of alkali-activated fly ash concrete can be improved by adding appropriate amount of slag. There is a nonlinear relationship between compressive strength and tensile strength of … Read more →
